If you have known me for any amount of time, you know that fall is by far my favourite time of year. There are many reasons for this, the crisp air, the leaves, driving with the windows down and the music blasting. But for as much as I love fall, the photographic part in me has a different sentiment towards it.
You see to me, fall is one time of year I have problems getting pictures that I like. To me it is something so big, so beautiful, that every image I capture just dulls in comparison to the real thing. Well that didn't stop me from trying today.
After I finished work, I had to get out and experience the aforementioned windows down, loud music. And man was it refreshing. Leaving from home, going up to Mactaquac and then going along the river on the North side to end up downtown, I explored dirt roads I've never been down before and probably drove a little slower then I normally do, taking in the beauty.
Weather permitting tomorrow after I'm done work I'm hoping to take a trip down the old Trans Canada towards Sussex. Who knows!?! Maybe I'll even stop in at the famous "Big Potato" in my journeys! So get out there, roll those windows down, and sing at the top of your lungs! And don't worry, the trees don't have ears so they won't make fun of you!
