There is Always Something.
Dark Harbour Draining.
It's been just about a year and a half since I moved to Grand Manan. I have driven up and down the island countless times looking for potential moments to catch, different things for my lens to experience. And although the island itself is small, it has provided me with nothing short of endless scenes to capture.
Just when I think I've been everywhere and seen everything, I stumble across some little road I never noticed before. Or sometimes I find myself in a place I have been hundreds of times and just walk around the corner of my usual stopping point.
Today that corner was in Dark Harbour. I guess I have always know there was the old light out there on the inlet, but I had never really ventured to it. So today I did, and once again the island did not disappoint, providing me yet another opportunity to capture just a little of its beauty.
So when you're out and about in those places you've been too many times to count, go further, around the corner, because there is always something more.
