We got hit with a pretty decent storm over the weekend, which meant that a good chunk of the last few days were spent cooped up inside. So today I had to get out. So I set my alarm early (well for me anyway) and headed out in the morning, and spent a good portion of the afternoon as well hunting for photos.
It was nice and sunny today, but was windy and frigid cold as you can tell from the above photo. Luckily I had some company while out and about as the one and only Will Cruickshank, who is home for reading week, braved the elements with me. We trudged the a lot of snow drifts and drove up and down the island looking to see what we could find. As much as I like storms while they are happening, they do make getting to certain spots to shoot almost impossible afterwards. But we didn't let a little snow in our boots keep us from getting some great shots.
Luckily it's calling for some mild weather for the rest of the week so hopefully that allows me to go and find some more awesome scenes to shoot, both here and on the mainland as I head to Saint John to do some street photography and possibly do a photo shoot with my sister and her husband! So keep an eye out for some of my experimenting in the short future!
All photos seen here are now available for my promotion Art 4 Ten as well!
