I've been on a kick of going through my library of photos and finding some photos I've never done anything with, as well as some favourites that could benefit from my greater knowledge of editing. This photo fits the latter.
Originally I took this photo in the spring of 2013, shortly after I moved to the island. Ross Island's lighthouse was a standing piece of history, but unfortunately blew over in November of the same year. At first I had published this photo in black and white and has always been one of my favourites, but now I love how the colour version brings out some more character of this icon and the rocks it stood upon.
